SANCTUM

Frequently asked questions

Will my therapist pray with me?
Only if you ask them to. Sanctum therapists follow your lead on faith integration — some clients want prayer, scripture, and explicit Christian frameworks; others want a therapist who simply understands their faith without making it the focus.
Is Sanctum covered by my insurance?
Sanctum does not bill insurance directly. After each session, we automatically generate a superbill — a standardized receipt with all the codes your insurer needs. You submit it to your insurance, and most PPO plans reimburse 50–80% of out-of-network therapy sessions. We will never promise you coverage, because coverage depends on your specific plan.
Are your therapists actually licensed?
Every Sanctum clinician is a state-licensed mental health professional — LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, Licensed Psychologist, or equivalent. We verify licenses, run background checks, and assess clinical skill before any therapist is added to the platform.
What if my therapist isn't the right fit?
You can switch therapists at any time at no additional cost. Fit matters — therapy only works when you trust the person sitting across from you.
Is my information confidential?
Yes. All sessions are HIPAA-compliant and encrypted. Your pastor is not informed about your sessions. Your faith community is not contacted.
